Minutes to Seconds is looking for a Data Test Analyst in a full time position.


Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Testing and Validation:

    • Ensure calculations, algorithms, and data transformations align with business requirements.
    • Validate end-to-end data workflows, from ingestion to reporting.
  2. Product Knowledge Application:

    • Leverage your deep understanding of the Impact Analytics suite to identify potential issues in data workflows or functionality.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate use-case-specific scenarios within these products.
  3. Test Planning and Execution:

    • Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases tailored to Impact Analytics products.
    • Automate repetitive testing tasks where possible, ensuring efficient validation cycles.
  4. Defect Management and Troubleshooting:

    • Identify, document, and communicate defects in a structured manner.
    • Work closely with data engineers, product managers, and developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  5. Collaboration with Teams:

    • Partner with business analysts and product managers to gather and understand business requirements.
    • Participate in product design reviews to provide input on testability and usability.
  6. Reporting and Insights:

    • Generate detailed test reports and provide actionable insights to ensure product quality.
    • Monitor and track product performance, ensuring data consistency across platforms.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in SQL for querying and validating data across large datasets.
    • Familiarity with data analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
    • Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline testing.
    • Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for test automation is a plus.
  • Testing and QA Skills:

    • Hands-on experience in functional, regression, and integration testing of data-driven products.
    • Strong defect management skills using tools like JIRA, Monday.com, or similar.
  • Other Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data testing, analytics quality assurance, or a similar role.
