Description

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Environment Manager to engage and support project delivery teams and BAU maintenance teams with their environment requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environment management, handling multiple environments, and managing deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage and support project delivery teams and BAU maintenance teams with their environment requirements.
  • Analyze and coordinate efforts to provide environments for patches, defect fixes, product enhancements, etc.
  • Maintain roadmaps for development and test environments (system test, UAT, performance).
  • Document environments and underlying components to appropriate standards.
  • Maintain, refresh, and recycle environments, including access control and deployment of software builds for testing.
  • Manage capacity (storage, memory, processors).
  • Provide technical consultancy on environments and software deployment, including expertise on underlying infrastructure, technologies, and tools.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by keeping abreast of industry trends, implementing best practices, evaluating new tools and techniques, automating processes, and upgrading underlying technologies.
  • Provide management reports and monitor key performance indicators.

Requirements:

  • Experience in environment management and associated tools, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Experience in handling multiple environments and managing multiple streams of deployments.
  • Experience with the systems development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of IT processes, change management, and risk assessment.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of industry best practices and strong network/links with individuals in the same field.
  • Knowledge of OFSAA is a huge plus.
  • Experience in the banking industry is a must.
  • Experience in the AML compliance space is a plus.
