As a Consumer Product Marketer, you’ll play a critical role in our marketing efforts. In this role, you’ll represent the voice of the consumer in designing the product, develop positioning for new products and features plus lead go-to-market (GTM) strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive alignment with leadership and stakeholder partners to develop product marketing strategy, approach, and coordinate cross-functional resources to execute on those plans
- Identify insights from the competitive landscape, voice of consumer, NPS, and market trends to develop recommendations to influence the product roadmap
- Tell the Nextdoor story through developing effective product positioning and messaging
- Lead product launches and feature releases across multiple channels that drive member growth, including acquisition and engagement and ongoing adoption
- Partner with product managers, data scientists, researchers, designers, product operations, and fellow marketers to drive insights and results
- Build analytical business cases, data-backed measurable KPIs for experiments and product marketing plans. Monitor and present plan effectiveness metrics to leadership and stakeholder teams
- Continuously optimize the approach to improve alignment and efficiencies
- Participate in in-person Nextdoor events, trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and other team building exercises
- Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to the culture that Nextdoor values
What You’ll Bring To The Team
- Minimum of 7 years working experience and 2 years experience in a product marketing capacity
- Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional written and verbal skills to communicate and present to senior leadership
- Ability to deliver succinct, impactful messaging that resonates with our users
- Strong analytical skills and ability to distill data into insights
- Well organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Deep curiosity and drive to continuously improve the experience for our users
- Unquestioned integrity, impeccable judgment, and the ability to think critically
- A collaborative, thoughtful, strategic, and operational/tactical marketer, who is comfortable with open communication and giving/receiving constructive feedback respectfully
Rewards
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The starting salary for this role is expected to range from $115,000 to $155,000 on an annualized basis, or potentially greater in the event that your 'level' of proficiency exceeds the level expected for the role. Compensation may also vary by geography.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
