Job description

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will:

Design, develop, and implement Azure-based data solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows and deployments.
Automate data workflows and integrations, ensuring efficiency and reliability across the data platform.
Work within a DevOps team to monitor and enhance the performance, availability, and scalability of the cloud infrastructure.
Develop and manage APIs to facilitate smooth data exchange between internal and external systems.

What You Bring to the Table:

5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure services and large-scale analytics platforms.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, and Log Analytics.
Expertise in CI/CD processes, ideally with Azure DevOps or GitHub for deployment and integration.
Strong scripting skills in Python and SQL, along with knowledge of API development for seamless data integration.
Experience in managing cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.

You should possess the ability to:

Architect and develop data workflows, automating data pipeline processes for efficiency and error handling.
Collaborate with DevOps teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions that meet business needs.
Troubleshoot and optimize big data technologies and frameworks, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Share knowledge and expertise with junior and medior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Ensure the platform’s infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and up-to-date with the latest Azure features.
