Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for Occupational Therapy. With varied and dynamic day-to-day functions, you will apply your service orientation, analysis and good judgment toward ensuring comprehensive occupational therapy care for patients.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • You will perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • You will perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • You will perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • You will communicate well with patients, peers, other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

Requirements

  •  State of Washington Occupational Therapist license
  • Current BLS Certification required
  • Minimum one (1) year of previous experience in occupational therapy preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $94,515.00 - $139,402.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
