Job description

As a Principal Consultant you will be adept at working with clients and taking the lead on the delivery of key client engagements across human centric change and capability projects. The emphasis will be on transforming the mindsets, behaviours, and capabilities that organisation’s need to deliver significant performance gains across the UK and other key EU and Global markets. Customer-centricity and fostering commercial excellence sits at the very heart of everything we do for our clients.

The role will involve:

  • Leading teams and programmes that deliver high value, customer-centric, change projects to clients in the Pharma/Life Sciences sector
  • Facilitating challenging group workshops aimed at transforming people-based capabilities and individual mindsets
  • Coaching individuals to think beyond what they know, perform to their best and feel passionate about what they do
  • Partnering and consulting with your clients to shape ideas and advise on bespoke solutions that demonstrate value-add
  • Contributing to the development of Rubica’s proposition, collateral, and methodologies
  • Developing key accounts and helping generate sales opportunities, through new and organic business development and the commercial negotiation process
  • Keeping abreast of industry thought-leadership, research, market analysis to build ongoing improvements to our offering

Who we’re looking for:

Ideally, you will demonstrate personal experience of collaborating with senior stakeholders within the pharma, or life sciences industry to create impactful programmes of organisational and cultural change. Alternatively, we would be interested in hearing from you if you evidence a strong similar consulting background facing into multiple sectors.

  • Experience of delivering consulting and coaching solutions centred around people, performance, change and culture, with a proven track record in profoundly changing mindsets and helping others to perform to their full potential
  • Experience of delivering bespoke people focused programmes into the pharmaceutical/life sciences sector
  • The ability to engage stakeholders, leaders and teams to positively adapt and embrace new approaches to technology, capability and customer engagement, helping organisations to provide the best service possible to customers
  • Experience in organisational development within service-oriented businesses
  • A personal approach that is naturally consultative and curious where ‘you seek first to understand'
  • The desire to take on more responsibility and motivated by the opportunity to have personal impact on the future of a small, growing consultancy firm
  • A working style that is highly adaptive, collaborative and innovative, and contributes confidently to the design and development of bespoke solutions that are based on proven methodologies
  • Any exposure to developing business opportunities, proposals and commercials, would be beneficial

The role is home based, with travel throughout the UK and potentially abroad. However, circa 75% of client work is delivered virtually, and there will never be prolonged periods of time spent away from home working at client site.

You will be working closely with the leadership of the firm who are experts in their field in a collaborative team environment that is fun and entrepreneurial yet highly professional with regular online and in-person team meets to share and develop.
