We at E57 Partners are looking for professionals to be a Solution Architect for our client in the IT Consulting and Outsourcing space. Our client is looking for individuals who are self-managed and experienced in project implementation in the EAM & manufacturing functions. This role may require up to 50% travel with the rest of the time working remotely.

The ideal candidate for this role will be collaborative and willing to work together with the client’s project team. They will use their knowledge and skillset to transition clients to IFS in the areas related to the EAM & manufacturing domains. They understand they will be the face of the company as they support the client through the implementation process. This person will be a team player and will not be afraid to ask questions or speak up when something is not working. They will be independent thinkers who can think outside of the box.

Solution Architect

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of project implementation experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite including collaboration tools
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Must live in and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • BS/BA in Business Administration
  • Preferred experience in the following IFS functionalities:
  • Represent the design authority for any changes impacting the IFS solution
  • Own the solution & ensure the solution aligns to the client’s requirements
  • Adopt standard processes wherever possible
  • Identify scope changes & work with PM if change request is required
  • Application of the implementation methodology
  • Drive consistent solution development process across the team
  • Built & maintain overview and detail mapping of business processes, functionalities, and data within the IFS solution
  • Oversee & participate in the configuration of the IFS Cloud solution
  • Participate in the development & deployment of implementation methodologies, trainings and toolkits
  • Strong familiarity with IFS modules including Finance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales & Service, Maintenance, HCM, Engineering, Projects and Contracts
  • Broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and understanding of strategy processes, and capabilities, enabling technologies and governance
  • Able to solve problems through business process improvements and leveraging integrated software systems
  • Able to apply architectural principles to the business solution

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • IFS functionalities as listed above under Preferred Qualifications
  • Act as a reliable and understanding partner, ensuring strong collaboration with the customer’s project team.
  • Strengthen your standing as a trusted expert by consistently offering sound advice and delivering top-tier customer care.
  • Work alongside the Solution Architect and Project Manager to ensure the IFS solution fits seamlessly with the client’s strategic objectives, needs, and project outline.
  • Clarify IFS concepts and terminology for the client’s team, helping them grasp essential ideas.
  • Organize and lead training sessions and workshops to build the customer project team’s competence.
  • Analyze, document, and devise solutions to address any gaps between the client’s business requirements and the capabilities of the IFS product.
  • Create detailed Functional Specifications to outline CRIM development requirements necessary to fill identified gaps.
  • Configure, develop, and present IFS functionalities through specific client scenarios to validate that the IFS prototype aligns with their expectations.
  • Provide hands-on training to the client’s project team on the IFS Prototype, ensuring a smooth handover of the solution.
  • Offer ongoing support for testing, data migration, and implementation efforts.
  • Guide the client in developing effective strategies for the Go Live process.
  • Offer advice on how clients can optimize and manage their IFS solution long-term.
  • Continue to expand your expertise in business, IFS, and industry standards.
  • Regularly seek out opportunities to enhance your own knowledge and strengthen the team’s capabilities.
  • Must adhere to the Company’s guidelines and protocols

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
  • Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and C-Suite.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Highly self-driven, able to work autonomously with little oversight.
  • Demonstrated success in quickly adapting and excelling in dynamic, fast-paced project environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, complemented by strong time management skills.
  • Competent in using the MS Office Suite and familiar with a range of collaboration tools.
