Job Summary: Working alongside a team of geospatial experts, the Geospatial Solutions Engineer will craft and customize rapid solutions using a combination of Airspace Link data and technology combined with common off the shelf and open-source technology that advances UAS integration for government and private industry clients. From autonomous delivery of organs to precision agriculture via drones, you will build the right tools and solutions for the problem at hand. Additionally, you will advise the client on the most complex business challenges by leveraging your problem-solving skills to demonstrate the value of Airspace Link’s applications, API and data.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Utilizing latest geospatial tools and technology, build the digital infrastructure that enables safe and scalable drone operations for government and commercial use cases
· Based on customer feedback and project demands, craft conceptual solution designs and provide large-scale advanced analytics support, collecting, parsing, transforming, and integrating relevant data in support of projects
· Show initiative and proactively craft and propose new solutions and build viable capabilities that scale, are performant, and generate powerful insights
· Successfully move new ideas from prototypes to productization, by foreseeing and executing on future client needs
· Present technical demonstrations and training of proposed and existing solutions to clients, both in simple and complex terms, depending on the audience, further advancing Airspace Link’s vision
· Thoroughly understand Airspace Link’s current data products and offerings, as well as future plans and vision, and effectively communicate to clients and public
· Collaborate cross-functionally to bridge gaps and advance innovative productization of solutions
· Work closely with Airspace Link’s partners to ensure alignment and provide the technical expertise necessary to meet project deliverables
· Use Python programming language to build automation scripts that optimize workflow and overall productivity
· Use Esri’s suite of products, particularly ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro, amongst others, to do geospatial analysis and invent new geospatial solutions
· Build strong relationships with clients and thoroughly communicate the Airspace Link message during virtual and in-person client and industry events
· Support your colleagues, coach new team members, and be proactive in company culture
· Maintain information security within area of the organization
Travel Required: Up to 5%

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geography, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
· 3+ years of experience with geospatial technologies, working with the entire Esri enterprise suite of tools including Survery 123. Advanced GIS expertise required
· Experience with SQL and database management
· Solid understanding of technical GIS concepts and capabilities and the ability to communicate those to non-technical audiences
· Experience working with Python and Javascript
· Experience working with APIs
· Strong presentation, interpersonal, and listening skills
· Demonstrated initiative to productize new ideas and go above and beyond outlined expectations
· Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
· Experience building prototypes that extend COTS technology to solve a new problems or gain insight into a new use cases
· A positive self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively with a team in a rapidly evolving greenfield industry
· Abreast of latest trends in GIS; involvement in industry associations and conferences a plus
