About the Role:

Millions of people around the world utilize our Bible study apps. Our greatest asset is our exceptional team, which helps us fulfill our company mission. We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Tester who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, identifying defects, and working closely with the development and product teams to ensure a seamless user experience.

NOTE: The applicant must be able to work from our Mexico offices or remotely within the country. 

Responsibilities:

• Define functional, regression, and user acceptance testing strategies for new features.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for web, desktop, and mobile applications.
• Recognize and champion improvements for QA processes, test coverage and methods. 
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies for new features.
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not captured in test cases.
• Participate in team SCRUM ceremonies to provide testing updates and feedback to stakeholders.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of experience working as part of an established QA team.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple ongoing projects and cases with competing deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Technical proficiency with major desktop and mobile operating systems.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.

Preferred Requirements: 

• Experience with automated testing.
• User knowledge of Logos Bible Software or general theological knowledge.

The base gross monthly salary for this full-time position ranges from $55,416 - $66,600 MXN pesos per month. Logos salary ranges are determined by role and position level. The range displayed on each remote job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
