Job description

The Senior Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Analyst is instrumental in advancing Aledade’s mission to enhance healthcare quality and reduce costs through physician-led Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). This advanced role involves leading the analysis of clinical documentation and risk stratification initiatives, ensuring that our practices operate with optimal effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses extensive analytical expertise, a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, and a passion for driving improvements in the healthcare landscape. With a strategic mindset and a commitment to excellence, the Senior CDI Analyst will contribute significantly to our continuous improvement efforts and support the overall success of our ACOs.

We are flexible with respect to geographic location, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely/work from home within the US or be based from Bethesda, MD office.

Primary Duties
  • Assist the Director of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) and the CDI team with research, data analysis, and project management tasks
  • Help prepare meeting materials that clarify complex topics and facilitate effective decision-making
  • Analyze performance trends and indicators related to risk stratification across various practices and markets to inform business strategies
  • Support the development and maintenance of analytical models that aid in risk stratification efforts, learning to educate stakeholders on their applications
  • Collaborate with various teams, including risk stratification, product, business intelligence, and analytics, to identify opportunities for improvement and support business objectives

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Health Care, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience required
  • Interest in healthcare programs, project management, or related fields is a plus
  • Familiarity with value-based care, accountable care organizations, or Medicare Advantage is a bonus
  • Experience using a variety of data management tools including but not limited to Tableau, Monday.com, Jira and other data management software
  • Experience with Risk Adjustment metrics supporting documentation accuracy and diagnosis capture 
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with a strong interest in quantitative analysis; comfortable working with large and complex data sets

  • Preferred KSA's
  • Basic experience with Google Slides, with the ability to create engaging presentations and draft materials with guidance
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn about stakeholder management
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and approach problems analytically
  • Eagerness to learn project management and data analysis tools such as Monday.com and Tableau
