Overview
The Pre Sales Consultant for Night Shift plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between prospective clients and our sales team. This position involves working in a dynamic environment during night hours to assist in the pre-sales activities for our products/services. As a key player in facilitating the sales process, the Pre Sales Consultant evaluates client needs, tailors solutions, and prepares compelling presentations to showcase the company's offerings. The importance of this role cannot be overstated; the Pre Sales Consultant directly impacts the organization's ability to attract and retain customers, ultimately influencing revenue growth. By collaborating with technical and sales teams, this position ensures that clients receive accurate information, expert insights, and exceptional engagement, setting the foundation for successful sales conversions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their requirements and challenges.
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations tailored to clients' needs.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to design effective solutions.
  • Provide technical and functional expertise in pre-sales efforts.
  • Prepare and present proposals, including detailed pricing and technical specifications.
  • Analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate products/services.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of all client interactions.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
  • Support the sales team in negotiations and closing processes.
  • Gather feedback from clients and relay insights to the product team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to promote products.
  • Train and mentor junior team members in pre-sales methodologies.
  • Work during night shifts to accommodate clients in different time zones.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in pre-sales or technical sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of the company’s products and services.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations.
  • Proven ability to engage with clients and build rapport.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret client needs and requirements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and presentation software.
