Job Description
- Position: Supply Chain Analyst
- Location: Remote (Headquarters Hub is Huntsville, AL)
- Duration: 12-24 months (contract employment to permanent)
- Pay Rate: $60,000 to $90,000 annually (based on knowledge, skill, experience)
- Start Date: early to mid January 2025
- Serves as a Logistics Management Specialist (Supply Chain Analyst); Military 92A/Y Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is a Preferred Skill
- Provides analysis to Functional SMEs and Supervisors focused on developing an integrated view of the supply chain's current state performance. Provides analysis to support planning for future supply chain initiatives. Ensures supply chain data from across the AMC enterprise is collected, validated, and aggregated for reporting with established metrics. Evaluates supply chain data for accuracy, analyzes system and functional capability, and addresses issues to resolve data quality and compatibility issues. Investigates trends in performance to identify the root cause(s) of supply chain performance issues
- Analyzes aggregated operational and statistical data and reports to determine functional trends, the efficiency of operations, and the effect on future resource requirements. Presents analysis and findings to leadership through reports and briefings.
- Drafts strategic guidance as needed. Develops understanding of the strategic and tactical operations of the Army and the impact of supply chain operations on combat forces.
- Analyses performed consider a holistic view of the supply chain and strategic objectives of AMC’s supply chain mission.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership
Requirements
- Performs assignments involving a variety of duties to provide analysis and recommendations; Military 92A/Y Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) is a Preferred Skill
- Expert understanding of supply chain policies
- Expert level statistics, analytics, and problem-solving skills to perform integrated analyses of supply chain health, command’s annual strategy, and segmentation criteria
- Expert level technical skills, including knowledge of data analytics platforms, business process management systems, ERP systems, and databases to draw conclusions from data analysis to develop and implement recommendations, procedures, and guidelines
- Expert knowledge of supply chain requirements, supply programs, command objectives, including advanced knowledge in the function and design of supply systems
- The employee must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- This position has a Data Analytics requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for Data Analytics level two (2) certification within 24 months of being placed on the position
