Test Engineer II

A TEKsystems client is transition towards automation and is looking for skilled individuals to collaborate closely with their development team. This role will require strong communication skills and a background in both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing for web, digital, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Write and execute test scripts using tools such as Playwright and Apache JMeter.
• Participate in Agile, Scrum, and Kanban processes, utilizing tools like Jira.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  
  
  

Top Skills' Details

• 6-8 years of experience in software testing and intermediate coding skills related to automation (current tools are Playwright & Apache JMeter).
• Experience in manual testing of front-end, API, and back-end components delivered in AWS.
• Need to have experience with GitLab, they pipeline and build everything in built in GitLab.
• Strong understanding and interpretation of the SDLC and STLC processes (preferably ISTQB certified).
• At least 3+ years of experience in test automation using Java, JavaScript, and Python.
• Experience in mobile testing for native iOS and Android applications. (Mobile test automation is preferred)
• Experience in creating, managing, and executing test artifacts (e.g., test cases, test plans, defects, test reports, test metrics) in Jira with Xray.
• Experience writing test scripts
• Healthcare experience preferred
  
  
  

Work Environment

• Hybrid work model with core hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST.
• Onsite presence required on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for Sioux Falls-based employees.
• Remote employees may need to visit the office quarterly, with a preference for candidates in the Midwest or West Coast.
