About the role : We are looking for a Assistant Sales Manager who actively drives sales and achieves sales target through seamless service process for the Pearson English language learning (ELL) products and solutions in Hong Kong particularly in the school adoption segment. The role is key to promote and maintain excellent customer relationship and actively explore the upselling opportunities.

As a Assistant Sales Manager you’ll be responsible for:
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up the adoptions from learning solution or marketing sources to drive a high level of satisfaction.
- Optimize the customer experience in the sale process from onboarding like setting up relevant customer training/services.
- Become a reliable and trusted advisor to newly onboarding customers and retain the existing customers to have confidence on the Company’s solution and reduce the churn rates.
- Deliver the sales target through customer retention and actively look for upselling.
- Guide the customers and explore the upsell opportunities like product/ solution upgrade after getting to know the customers’ needs and goals to align with the Company’s to reach mutual benefits.
- Deliver the solution to customers in various settings from onsite presentation to virtual meeting as requested.
- Regularly study from other internal departments including Portfolio Management, Content Development and Marketing to grasp the product information and latest development.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- University graduate in any disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in teaching, education, education technology or academic publishing.
- Target driven, solution-oriented/ consultation approach and can-do attitude
- Learning mindset to continuous look for excel
- Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English
- Good presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
