Job description

Elevate is recruiting an Analyst - Legal Spend to join our Legal Operations team. The Analyst - Legal Spend will use excellent attention to detail and prior experiences to implement legal spend services for our customers.


Specifically, the Analyst - Legal Spend will

  • Review law firm bills to ensure compliance with the customers outside counsel guidelines.
  • Help develop best practices.
  • Track and analyze data.
  • Work on monthly reporting metrics.
  • Train new team members.
  • Support customers in more advanced spend management analytics.


Experience

  • 1+ year of experience as a spend analyst, bill review auditing, or business/finance analyst.
  • Prior experience as an attorney, paralegal, legal spend analyst, legal bill auditor, legal bill reviewer, or billing coordinator for a law firm is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Experience using major eBilling software vendors, including Mitratech, CT Tymetrix, Datacert, Bridgeway, and others.
  • Experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable learning new software products, if necessary.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors required.


Compensation

  • The pay rate for this remote-based job category is $55,000-80,000/year based on job-related skills, experience, level, and location. Anticipated hire will be on the low end of this position range as an entry level associate.
