The ROLE

In partnership with other IT functions, you will help deliver new functionality through requirements in a secure and efficient manner with minimal re-work within our Salesforce environment. You will be an active participant in receiving requirements from the Applications groups and able to convert to functional delivery. You will be able to think of security first as part of the project or change management workflow. You will have a keen eye for UI/UX and able to ensure a clean, modern look as well as a streamlined user experience. Delivery will include Salesforce as well as integrations between systems, and reports. The ability to support additional systems is seen as a plus. You are an entrepreneur at heart embracing new challenges.

What You Will Do

  • All aspects of Salesforce user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules.
  • Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, Apex, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports.
  • Sandbox environment management.
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer.
  • Working with integrated applications including Gainsight, Highspot, HubSpot, Kantata SX
  • Be a trusted partner to other functional areas who will be confident in your ability to deliver on time and on budget.
  • Design, develop and unit test optimized and scalable Salesforce solutions across Syniti.
  • Develop or update documentation as needed.
  • Trains others as necessary in the solutions delivered through Salesforce.
  • Primary subject matter expert to diagnose and debug defects, conduct root cause analysis and recommend solutions through change control.
  • Can quickly adapt and integrate into new technologies.
  • Provide support for any custom development created for quick resolution to any problems that may occur.

What It Takes

  • Highly motivated, decisive, and results-oriented individual with the flexibility and creativity to excel in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
  • Experience implementing many types of Salesforce configuration changes.
  • Experience working with all levels of management and consulting with key business stakeholders. Demonstrated executive presence and communication skills with an ability to influence for greater outcomes.
  • Experience with change control, incident response, and release management.
  • Experience handling sensitive, confidential information.
  • Experience with data manipulation and Salesforce mass data uploads.
  • Experience with querying languages like SQL and SOQL.
  • 2+ years as a Salesforce Administrator or another Salesforce technical role.
  • 2+ years SQL and experience in building database schema preferred.
  • Proven success implementing various types of Salesforce Flows.
  • Proven success in organizational change management.
  • Proven success in continual improvement.
  • Salesforce Admin certified preferred.
  • Experience with Apex preferred.
  • Experience in integration layers between systems.
