Position Highlights:
Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Physician Recruitment Partner provides day-to-day oversight of the physician recruitment process. This individual will effectively collaborate with the credentialing team, payor enrollment, malpractice insurance and general onboarding staff to ensure that newly hired physicians are onboarded within compliance in a timeline fashion driven by their contractual start date.
Vital to implementing recruitment and sourcing strategies surrounding physician recruitment, the Physician Recruitment Partner supports the partnership with the physician recruitment team across Holy Cross Health to create and maintain a strong and continuous diverse candidate pipeline. Through use of innovative and creative strategies, will oversee the physician recruitment growth and development plans, both current and future, for Holy Cross Health in accordance with organizational needs and goals. Utilizes multiple recruitment strategies and resources to attract, source, screen, select, and effectively deliver highly qualified, diverse physicians to Holy Cross Health impacting candidate placement and ensuring timely filling of physician opportunities in various divisions. Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions of Holy Cross Health and Trinity Health System.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for building positive relationships with physician applicants, potential pipeline physicians and various Holy Cross Colleagues essential to the recruitment process. He/she must be well informed on the organizational structure and departmental policies of Holy Cross Health and work well across departments and to maximize resources.
Must independently plan, organize, and prioritize workload and assignments and have excellent time management skills for the execution of multiple and high-volume work assignments. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of provider searches.
Documents detailed sourcing and candidate lead generation activity utilizing inhouse applicant tracking system (ATS). Maintains detailed candidate tracking reports reflecting all sourcing activities, recruitment efforts, and outcomes. Monitors and tracks individual key performance indicators and all metrics related to candidate pipelines and sourcing. Supports the preparation of reports related to efforts.
Participates in specialty related recruitment events and networking activities to attract and engage qualified candidates both locally and across various regions of the United States. Assists new candidates in obtaining state licensure, DEA and the pre-application for hospital privileges. Assists new physicians will initiating Maryland licensure and various necessary credentials.
Will schedule and coordinate candidate interviews (both virtually and in person).
Will arrange and coordinate transportation of candidates as needed for interviews and will escort candidates to site visits and/or onboarding appointments as appropriate. Works as a liaison between agencies and realtors to provide a positive experience for candidates as they onboard into the organization. Will possess the ability to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently
Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles.
Acts as an ambassador for Holy Cross Hospital and demonstrates a high commitment for diversity, equity and inclusion welcoming prospective physicians from various backgrounds to the community. Initiates recruitment efforts with physicians in local residency programs and sources candidates based on the needs of the organization. Location: Holy Cross Health operates two hospitals and four healthcare centers, all within a short driving distance from Washington, DC, and Baltimore, MD.

Minimum Education, licensure/certification required:
Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of business or healthcare administration as normally obtained through a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced Degree in Healthcare Administration or Management is preferred.
Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressively more responsible health care recruiting experience, preferably in physician and provider recruitment. Experience with full life-cycle provider recruitment is highly preferred. May also consider experience in medical staffing/credentialing, Graduate Medical Education, or Advanced Practice Provider recruitment where providers are the primary focus.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with all levels of management as well as contract staff and a range of external constituents.
Knowledge and experience in candidate evaluation, pipelining, sourcing, recruitment policies and HR compliance.
Must possess working knowledge of legal issues surrounding immigration, Visa, and contract negotiations.
Must possess a knowledge of physician recruitment strategies, practices and procedures. Knowledge of various medical and surgical clinical specialty areas required.
Demonstrated experience using online provider recruiting tools and sourcing methods with a demonstrated track record of high-volume sourcing of physician and provider talent (this will include the utilization of social media platforms specifically for recruitment purposes).
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Will have the ability to discern and maintain confidentiality and discretions throughout the recruitment process on a continuous basis regarding the recruitment process and relevant information/documents.
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ATS usage required(Workday experience highly preferred).
Pay Range: $32.60-$57.99
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
