What will you do?

  • Subject matter expert in guiding, reviewing and ensuring the quality of team member deliverables
  • Responsible for different aspects of team performance - both scientific and operational
  • Responsible for quality of the team deliverables
  • Responsible for project assignment to team members
  • Ensure optimal performance of team members, resolving conflicts and removing blockers or escalating in timely manner
  • Set individual goals for team members and coach them towards achieving them
  • Coach and mentor team members in order to enable their timely career advancement to more senior positions (relative to their current)
  • Provide regular feedback to team members and supports their development within the company
  • One of the main stakeholders in the hiring effort
What do you bring to the table?
  • BSc with minimum 4 years of experience in relevant domain or MSc with minimum 3 years of experience in relevant domain
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Good programing skills and bioinformatic knowledge with focus on R, NextFlow, Rshiny, CWL, Python
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • 2+ years of experience in mentoring and guiding younger colleagues
  • People management and development experience
  • Advanced knowledge of programming and good programming practices
