Are you interested in collecting and analyzing cyber threat intelligence data?

We are looking for a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team, performing a support role in analyzing cyber threats and providing actionable insights to enhance security measures. We're seeking an organized, communicative, and proactive person willing to research and evaluate information to identify and respond to cyber threats, contributing to the growth and safety of the entire Axur team. And you can work remotely from anywhere in the world!


A typical workday might include:
  • Collecting intelligence from various sources, such as threat feeds, open-source reports, social media, forums, and deep and dark web platforms;
  • Analyzing gathered data to assess its relevance and reliability, including identifying Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise (IoCs);
  • Developing profiles on threat actors, detailing their capabilities, intentions, and TTPs;
  • Producing alerts, bulletins, and detailed reports on emerging or ongoing threats for various audiences, including internal teams and organizational leaders;
  • Offering specific recommendations on protective measures to mitigate identified threats;
  • Conducting active information-gathering operations, including infiltration and interaction when necessary.

Requirements

Indispensable Requirements

  • Fluency in Portuguese;
  • Advanced English;
  • Experience in Cyber Threat Intelligence analysis, with a strong understanding of cyber threat techniques, including malware, phishing, social engineering, and advanced persistent threats (APTs);
  • Familiarity with threat intelligence tools, such as Maltego;
  • Proven ability to create clear and actionable threat intelligence reports for different audiences;
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including network architectures, operating systems, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis results concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences;
  • Adaptability in a dynamic cybersecurity environment and a commitment to continuous learning about new threats, attack techniques, and defense tools.


Additional Qualifications

  • Spanish fluency;
  • Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields;
  • Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM);
  • Knowledge of offensive security techniques.
