Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Financial Planning & Analysis Teams develop, interpret and implement financial concepts for financial planning and control. They perform technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. They gather, analyze, prepare and summarize recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. The Financial Planning & Analysis Teams also perform economic research and studies in the areas of rates of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.
In this role, you will lead analytical and financial process support to the Energy Americas Business Unit. Responsibilities will include OPEX controlling, DOA and compliance, monthly financial close activities, management reporting, and data analytics. The role will report to the FP&A Manager for the Energy Business Unit for the Americas region.
Responsibilities:
• Financial reporting and analysis to include Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
• OPEX controlling by providing detailed monthly analysis of operating expenses and variance to forecast
• Provide monthly OPEX actuals and forecast reporting to management
• Assist with the monthly forecast and the annual business plan, review and document variances to forecast, prior year, and financial commitment forecasts
• Proactively communicate potential risks & opportunities, through variance, bridges & decision support analysis
• Drive monthly P&L development and reporting process
• Maintain Delegation of Authority throughout Energy Americas
• Perform financial analysis by developing financial models that support our internal customers.
• Assist with sales reporting and analysis.
• Provide support for external and internal audits.
• Compliance and auditing internal controls and TE corporate policies
• Preparing ad hoc analysis as requested.
• Proactively apply TEOA-F principles to continuously improve financial and other associated processes
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting required
- Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CPA, MBA) are a plus
- 4-7 years of experience in a finance role in a large organization with exposure to both commercial and manufacturing environments Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and MS Access
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with an emphasis on strategic thinking, teamwork, and results-driven implementation.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively at different organizational levels and functions to identify and resolve issues
- Team player with the ability to develop strong relationships with business partners.
- Financial system / ERP / Analytics software knowledge a plus (SAP preferred, Hyperion\HFM, Tableau\TED Reporting)

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $110,200 - $165,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
