This is a remote position.
We are looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and support of our DevOps strategy and cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform. The successful candidate will work closely with our development, IT, and operations teams to deliver efficient and scalable DevOps solutions, driving continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) best practices, and managing the automation of our infrastructure as code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable efficient deployment processes for applications and services.
Automate infrastructure : setup and management using Azure ARM Templates, Terraform, and/or Bicep.
Monitor and troubleshoot : cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Collaborate with development teams to build, test, and release software efficiently and securely.
Manage source control repositories using Git, and oversee branching and merging strategies to support development workflows.
Set up and maintain cloud environments in Azure to support testing, staging, and production workloads.
Integrate security best practices within DevOps processes, including vulnerability scanning and access management.
Implement logging and monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to track application and infrastructure performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and architect solutions that meet business and technical objectives.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members in best practices for DevOps and Azure infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in DevOps with a focus on Azure cloud environments.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, ARM Templates, and/or Bicep.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging solutions on Azure (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights).
- Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance standards in a cloud environment.
- Strong understanding of Git and branching strategies for source control.
