What’s unique about this role?
As the Associate Director eDiscovery Staffing, you will be the team lead to oversee the group of Lighthouse secondees contracted to clients to design, implement, improve, and execute their eDiscovery, information governance, and document review initiatives. As such you will be responsible for helping design, implement, manage, and report on customer’s programs such as eDiscovery, collection, document review, legal hold, and legal technology solutions. This includes both supporting the client by leading the team executing tasks across the eDiscovery lifecycle including having the knowledge of and ability to provide solutions with the dedicated secondees as well as leveraging the peripheral Lighthouse teams when needed. In aligning with solving the client’s problems, you will ensure that they are aware of and leverage as many of Lighthouse’s solutions as possible to maximize efficiency and value.
In addition to leading the client relationships and managing the dedicated client team, you will also work with the relevant Lighthouse functions to develop, market, strategize, and implement these discovery and flexible staffing programs globally if the business case and market demand justify it.
What will this person do?
- Developing, marketing, strategizing, managing, and implementing discovery and flexible staffing solutions for a dedicated client as well as investigating replicating like solutions for additional clients
- Managing the dedicated client team while ensuring the delivery of the solution to meet the client’s needs
- Ensuring the clients are aware of and informed about the breadth of Lighthouse’s products and services promoting consumption when appropriate
- Recruiting, interviewing, training, and mentoring client team members
- Designing methods, processes, metrics, roles and responsibilities, and quality steps for discovery and dedicated staffing programs
- Defining requirements, selecting technology and services, and working with customers to implement technical discovery solutions
- Reporting the efforts and successes of the staffing team to leadership highlighting the ROI the contractors are delivering for the clients and the company
- Allocate people resources and manage team performance within assigned team, track key performance indicators, and lead team engagement and culture
- Plan, monitor, and manage internal and external project communications of support team members
- Establish excellent working relationships with peers at other Lighthouse Offices locations and ensure close collaborative working and homogeneity of our solutions, delivering value to clients through the consultative and collaborative efforts of the secondee teams
- Develop client relationships, often involving partnership with Lighthouse Sales stakeholders, to ensure consistency in consultative communication and standards
- Communicate proper expectations for scope and deadlines to internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate expectations for client training and onboarding’s to support team and ensure effective execution of those tasks
- Identify opportunities to engage existing and emerging Lighthouse service offerings (Key Document Identification, Advanced Analytics, Managed Review, Digital Forensics, etc.)
- Drive team results in the areas of technology, workflow and process mastery, issue resolution, and department and/or company objectives and initiatives
- Provide support to eDiscovery Staffing team, ensuring they have access to the knowledge and resources necessary for them to deliver a world-class client experience
- Develop a thorough understanding of Lighthouse Services and workflows and the critical paths needed to progress work through the system and tools used by Staffing clients in order to advise and consult both the Staffing team and their clients
- Oversee the completion of key tasks such as initial Client setup, template consultation, and documentation of workflows, and standards
- Deliver strategic, operating, and results-oriented leadership to promote team and individual excellence
- Delegate key stakeholders to ensure proper client training and empowerment as well as strategic execution is completed, including oversight and support to manage client expectations
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert to ensure both internal and external teams know how to effectively leverage Lighthouse products and services, including being a point person in training internal teams in workflow specific best practices
- Work with the Review and Advanced Analytics, Managed Review, Spectra, Digital Forensics, and Sales and Marketing teams to provide a comprehensive picture and delivery of Lighthouse solutions

- Degree in a related discipline
- At least eight years eDiscovery project management experience in either a law Firm, consultancy, or eDiscovery services provider
- Minimum 3 years' experience leading an eDiscovery team working on large scale global eDiscovery matter(s)
- Experience of leading clients in a SaaS platform and educating clients and internal teams on best practice and technical execution
- Relativity accreditation (ideally RCA or higher), working knowledge of Nuix and/or Relativity Processing and experience of other eDiscovery platforms
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Duties are performed in a typical office environment while at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to use a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material, in a quiet and professional setting.
Duties may require occasionally working outside normal business hours (evenings and weekends).

As required by applicable pay transparency laws, Lighthouse complies with compensation disclosure requirements for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be tailored to be lower or higher in different talent markets.
The expected pay for this role will range from $130,106 to $141,000 per year. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual bonus or incentive program.
