Lead transformation by championing business outcomes, pushing technical boundaries, advocating for change, and delivering exceptional customer experience across Collins Aerospace.

Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled enterprise architect to be part our Digital Technology enterprise architecture team leading the customer facing applications space.

** This individual can sit at any Collins domestic location or remote. **

What YOU will do:

  • You will lead the architecture journey for our customer facing applications, such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Customer Experience initiatives.

  • You will collaborate with Peer Architects, Digital Technology service owners, Business Leadership and Product Managers to ensure we architect for today and position for the future.

  • You will create and articulate Future State architecture using Narrative Documents, supported by a Detailed Strategy, which unifies relevant Architecture & Design artifacts enabling the Business Strategy and delivering value recognized by our customers.

  • You will develop and Incorporate data integration strategies to deliver a 360-degree view of our customer base.

  • You will validate proposed Future State Architecture using Proofs-of-Concepts and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) approaches.

  • You will collaborate with Domain Architects such as Technology Solution Architects, peers in Security and Technical/Infrastructure Architecture, to refine and evolve the Solution Architectures, Processes, and Practices, leveraging architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, DODAF, etc.)

  • You will support consolidation and transformation of customer application landscape to deliver One RTX strategy.

  • You will ensure that the resulting architecture is in line with the EA standards & guidelines, enable the desired business outcome, and ensures that the resulting landscape can be effectively maintained, supported, and sustained.

  • You will advocate and drive adoption of architecture patterns, design principles, and leading practices.

Qualifications you must have:

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder).

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

  • 5+ years of broad-based (infrastructure, application, delivery, etc.) customer facing applications deployment and management experience in large enterprises.

  • Proven track record as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and delivering business outcomes in Customer Experience Technologies.

  • Qualifications We Prefer:

  • End-to-end life cycle CRM implementations from project preparation through go live. Demonstrated experience with COTS enterprise applications including but not limited to SAP, Hybris, Salesforce, ServiceNow.

  • Experience of cloud & on-premises application data & integrations, API’s, middleware.

  • Experience with working on enterprise architecture frameworks (eg. TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, etc.). Certification in any of the framework’s a plus.

  • Experience with Agile development methodology and related environments (Jira, Azure DevOps)

  • Strong understanding of Portal, Front end applications, ERP & CRM eco-system and its critical components & dependencies to achieve One customer experience.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
