Title: Director of CIED Services  

Locations: Remote  

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 

Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: 
The Director of CIED Services will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and supporting the strategic execution of the CIED service line. Reporting to the VP of Clinical Operations, this role will lead a remote team and ensure the highest quality of patient care in alignment with company objectives. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. 

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience in remote patient care models, and a thorough understanding of clinical operations health technology environments. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

CIED Operations Management: 

  • Oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficient and consistent delivery of CIED services 

  • Oversee the CIED managers, ensuring proper staffing levels, training, and performance management. 

  • Develop, implement, and optimize workflows to enhance operational efficiency. 

Quality & Compliance: 

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and other relevant laws and standards. 

  • Monitor team performance metrics and work with the VP of Clinical Operations to develop strategies for continuous improvement. 

  • Ensure that all Policies and Procedures are current and reflect the operational norms of the department. 

Collaboration & Leadership: 

  • Work with sales and marketing teams to align CIED operations with business development goals and customer expectations. 

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the CIED management team, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and accountability. 

Data-Driven Optimization: 

  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. 

  • Support the development of reporting and analysis to demonstrate the effectiveness of CIED remote monitoring and other related service lines. 

Program Development & Implementation: 

  • Assist the VP of Clinical Operations in developing and launching new CIED programs and services. 

  • Ensure smooth implementation of new processes and technologies across the organization. 

Team Leadership & Development: 

  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of staff, promoting a high-performance culture. 

  • Mentor and coach management team members, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices. 

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team. 

 

Qualifications: 

Education & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred 

  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical operations experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role. 

  • Experience in telemedicine, remote patient monitoring, or digital health environments strongly preferred. 

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and quality standards (e.g., HIPAA, CMS). 

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a distributed team. 

  • Strong understanding of workflows and operational processes in a healthcare technology setting. 

  • Data-driven decision-making with experience in clinical analytics and performance monitoring. 

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in scaling clinical operations in a health tech company. 

  • Familiarity with remote monitoring tools, EHR systems, and telehealth platforms. 

  • Experience leading clinical teams in a multi-state or multi-jurisdictional environment. 

  • Familiarity with Value Based Care (VBC) key performance indicators (KPIs) - both identification of KPIs and gathering data.
