Job Title: Digital Product Analyst

Reports to:  BSA Manager, Order Management

Location:  Goleta, CA (remote position)

Your Impact:

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with digital transformation for wholesale and retail business groups. Work with product manager, business and development team in putting together digital design and tools to support digital needs of the company.
  • Responsible for product planning and execution throughout Product Lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining product vision, and working closely with development, QA and other vendors to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. Partner in product strategy and roadmap discussions with product teams and with leadership.
  • Deliver MRDs (Market Requirements Documents) and PRDs (Product Requirements Documents) with prioritized features and corresponding justification. Work with development team, QA and external vendors. Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples.
  • Serve as advisory to users. Monitor external products available in the market and be fast follower. Innovate and always put customer/users in center of any changes.
  • SALARY: $133,390/year - The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Who You Are:

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study

Work Experience:

  • 5 years of progressive experience in Business Analytics or as a Product Owner for Digital Tools. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field of study and 2 years of experience in Business Analytics or as a Product Owner for Digital Tools in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 5 years of progressive experience. Employer will accept pre- or post-Master’s degree experience. All experience must be post-Bachelor’s.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Applicants must have demonstrated experience with the following
    • 1 year of experience as a Product Analyst;
    • defining and launching Digital Products;
    • Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies;
    • any database query language;
    • JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and Github;
    • working with a development team, Quality Assurance, and external software vendors;
    • partnering in product strategy and roadmap discussions with product teams and with leadership;
    • delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification;
    • running beta and pilot programs with early-stage Digital Products and samples;
    • serving in an advisory capacity to product users as a Digital Product Owner or a Business Analyst; and
    • managing multiple priorities simultaneously while reaching established milestones

  • Any and all experience may be gained concurrently
