About the Role

Our client is seeking a music editor to create a dance performance mashup. The project involves blending specific elements from two popular songs while maintaining their key musical components. This is a short-term remote project requiring completion within two weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Create seamless transitions between selected song segments
• Blend underlying melodies from both tracks
• Maintain consistent tempo and rhythm suitable for dance
• Ensure smooth audio mixing and mastering
• Provide draft versions for feedback

Requirements

• Basic understanding of music editing software
• Ability to identify and isolate musical elements
• Knowledge of tempo matching and beat mixing
• Understanding of basic music theory
• Good communication skills
