What to expect?

As part of our strategic growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Client Partner to support our clients in the manufacturing sector in Germany. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving business development and expanding our presence in the market. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Developing New Business Opportunities: Identify and secure new customers to increase market share within Germany’s manufacturing industry.

  • Leveraging Industry Expertise: Utilize your deep understanding of the sector to identify opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and drive business growth.

  • Shaping Business Development Strategy: Define the direction for business development and replicate successful solutions to drive continued success.

  • Consultative Selling: Engage with prospective clients at a strategic level, offering sophisticated solutions tailored to their specific business needs.

  • Establishing Executive-Level Relationships: Build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to develop a comprehensive understanding of their business and industry challenges.

  • Maintaining Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and competitive dynamics to ensure credibility and relevance in discussions with customer executives.

  • Competitor Insight: A solid understanding of key competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, and how to leverage this knowledge to capture new business opportunities.

  • Consultative Sales Expertise: Proficiency in consultative solution selling, with the ability to align client needs with DXC's value proposition.

  • Strategic Planning and Business Acumen: Deep knowledge of clients’ organizational structures, business processes, and financial frameworks to inform strategic planning.

  • Industry Knowledge: Up-to-date understanding of trends in the manufacturing and automotive sectors, as well as associated solutions and key partners.

  • Proven Sales Performance: Typically, 8+ years of sales or account management experience with a demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding high sales quotas.

  • Language Skills: Fluency in both German and English is required.
