A Day in the Life
As an Organizational Effectiveness Practitioner in our commercial transformation, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing change initiatives that drive transformational efforts across the Global Commercial Transformation and Operations organization. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies that enhance organizational performance, culture, and employee engagement. Your expertise in change management, organizational development, and strategic planning will be critical in ensuring the success of our transformational projects.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Change Leadership
- Lead and manage large-scale change initiatives, ensuring alignment with commercial transformation organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, including communication plans, stakeholder engagement, and training programs.
- Partner with senior leaders and project teams to drive change and ensure successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
- Build and grow change capability across the client organization.
- Organizational Development
- Conduct organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategies to enhance effectiveness.
- Design and implement organizational development programs, including leadership development, team building, and talent management initiatives.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other development activities to build organizational capability and resilience.
- Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with Global Commercial Operations leadership (initial focus) & HRBP team to develop and implement strategic plans that support transformational efforts.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of change initiatives on organizational performance and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Align organizational development initiatives with business strategies to drive sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, managers, and employees.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on matters related to organizational effectiveness and change management.
- Facilitate open and transparent communication to ensure stakeholder buy-in and support for change initiatives.
- Performance Measurement
- Develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of change initiatives and organizational development programs.
- Conduct regular evaluations and provide feedback to leadership on progress and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of HR experience to include proven experience in leading and managing large-scale change initiatives and organizational development programs, or, and advanced degree with 8+ years’ experience; 7+ years of managerial experience
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
- Experience with data analysis and performance measurement.
- Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$175,200.00 - $262,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
