Job Summary

Oracle CX Consultant at Argano is part of the consulting family, responsible for providing strategic technology consulting services to large clients or within the organization, leading major strategic initiatives, and managing key client relationships. They apply extensive experience and knowledge of a client's business or an area of technology to help them make improvements in how they operate, most frequently to help them grow revenue or become more profitable. They offer recommendations for entering new markets, making existing products more competitive or implementing operational improvements. They indirectly be mentors to other areas and grades.

Responsibilities

  • Oracle Sales Performance Management (SPM) Consultant is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and improvement of Oracle's Sales Performance Management tools.
  • Leverage Oracle Cloud solutions to drive the performance of the sales team, ensuring accurate incentive compensation, improving sales processes, and generating insights to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Perform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and development tasks.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable and meet business requirements. Identify and document technical gaps.
  • Be recognized as Techno/Functional expert in Oracle Sales Performance Management and other Oracle CX Applications.
  • Conduct solution architecture reviews.
  • Design, implement, and manage incentive compensation plans within the Oracle platform.
  • Ensure accurate calculation of sales commissions and distribute compensation statements to the sales teams.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements using Oracle SPM tools.
  • Configure Oracle Territory Planning and Management to align territories with business goals and strategies.
  • Customize and configure territory management settings, rules, and hierarchies within Oracle.
  • Coordinate with offshore and onshore teams.
  • Manage task assignments within the teams. Monitor and drive issues to resolution.
  • Provide direct and indirect mentorship and guidance to other teams and consultants, fostering professional growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in systems and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological trends and innovations and assess their relevance to the organization.

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
  • MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD (technical accounting, management system, Business Admin, etc.) expected.

Experience

  • 6 to 8 years of consulting or industry experience.
  • 4+ years in leading Oracle Sales Performance Management Implementations
  • Experience with Oracle Incentive Compensation Cloud
  • Experience in configuration of compensation plans, credit rules, custom components, credit, and classification rules.
  • Experience with Territory Management.
  • Experience with Quota Management.
  • Proficiency with Oracle Sales Cloud, or other related CRM and SPM tools
  • Extensive experience in consulting or a related role, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Consulting experience in a similar role in a professional services firm or industry experience at a strategic level is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the technologies and systems relevant.
  • Preferred experience in any of the other CX modules like Sales Cloud CRM, Subscription Management, Field Service and/or Service Cloud, CPQ Cloud

  • Strong understanding: Various domains such as networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, software development, databases, etc. Understanding of business processes and how technology can be aligned with business goals. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals in a clear and understandable manner. In-depth knowledge of industry-specific technologies and best practices.
  • Strategic Leadership: Thought leadership for projects and require visionary leadership skills.
  • Client Management: Managing key client accounts and relationships at a high level is critical. Familiarity with different operating systems and software applications.
  • Industry Reputation: Building and maintaining a strong industry reputation and network are important.
  • Business Development: Identifying and pursuing significant business growth opportunities is a core responsibility.
