Job description

We are seeking a Product Manager with some experience in the healthcare space who is eager to take on more responsibility and deepen their expertise in healthtech. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop products that meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers, patients, and payers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for healthcare technology and a desire to shape impactful products in a rapidly evolving industry.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision & Strategy: Assist in defining and executing the product strategy for healthcare-focused solutions, aligning with business goals and customer needs. Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and help prioritize features based on market research and user feedback.

Market Research & Insights: Conduct research to understand healthcare industry trends, user needs, and competitive products. Gather insights from stakeholders (clinical teams, customers, and end-users) to identify pain points and opportunities for innovation.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that product requirements are met and that all aspects of the product development process are aligned. Act as a bridge between business and technical teams to facilitate communication and drive product outcomes.

Requirements Definition: Help define and document detailed product requirements based on user feedback and business goals. Ensure that product features are well-defined and actionable for the development team.

Product Development & Launch: Participate in the full product lifecycle, from ideation and planning through to launch. Work with the team to prioritize tasks, ensure deadlines are met, and deliver high-quality products on time. Monitor and analyze post-launch metrics to track product performance and drive continuous improvements.

Healthcare Compliance & Regulations: Leverage your knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDA, CMS) to ensure that products are designed and developed in compliance with industry standards. Work with legal and compliance teams to manage risk.

User Feedback & Iteration: Collect feedback from users, including healthcare providers and patients, to drive iterative improvements in product design and functionality. Prioritize updates based on customer needs, market dynamics, and business goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally with some exposure to the healthcare sector (healthtech, telemedicine, EHR/EMR systems, healthcare applications, or similar).

Healthcare Knowledge: A basic understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare systems, and key regulations (e.g., HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act, FDA guidelines).

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with stakeholders.

Familiarity with Agile product development processes (Scrum, Kanban) and experience using product management tools (Jira, Confluence, Aha!, etc.).

Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, and prioritize initiatives based on business impact and user needs.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare, or a related field. Additional certifications or coursework in healthcare-related topics (e.g., health informatics, healthcare management) are a plus.
