Description
One Full-Time Contract to May 2026 (with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent) 

This position is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources and Payroll Functions. Responsibilities will include:
  • Assist with HR tasks
  • Prepare and maintain employee-related documents
  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly basis
  • Assist with the implementation of the Learning Management software system, including inputting, maintenance and updating of employee records
  • Administrative / Project work
Position Requirements
  • Essential - Post secondary education in Business or Human Resources
  • 3-5 years working knowledge of payroll procedures
  •  Knowledge of legislation that pertains to area of expertise (Payroll Legislation, ESA etc.). 
  • Desirable - Education in payroll administration including certification
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must
  • Ability to multi-task and effective organization skills are required
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail in all areas of work
  • Able to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Experience working with highly confidential information
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • The successful applicant will be required to provide a police clearance that meets agency standards
  • Must have access to reliable transportation

Starting Hourly Rate: $24.95 / Hour

Office Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Office Expectations: This position requires minimum three in office support days with an option for working from home for the other two.
