As a Claims Adjuster - Prestige Multiline you will be the first point of contact in assisting High Net Worth customers through their property or auto losses. You will help our customers through difficult times, demonstrating empathy and strong listening skills as you investigate a wide variety of claims through to completion.


What you'll do here: 

  • Investigate high-value and complex personal lines auto/property claims in a timely and respectful manner through communication with customers, contractor, consultants, brokers, and any other related parties
  • Provide quality service and discuss settlement options with our customers.
  • Provide clear and concise information to vendors
  • Develop an action plan for conducting investigations by determining necessary information required to clarify and justify the claim.
  • Ensure prompt and equitable settlements in line with Intact’s policies and standards.
  • Analyze the information, interpret insurance policy wordings, determine coverage, and assess damage.
  • Document the claim file by collecting information from appraisers, engineers, or other pertinent experts to determine coverage
  • Lead and assist with various projects & process improvement initiatives that align with our strategic goals and develop the Prestige brand


What you bring to the table:           

  • University degree or college diploma preferred and/or equivalent business experience
  • Completed or working towards a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
  • Minimum of 3 years of claims experience in property and/or automobile damage claims for high profile customers (preferred)
  • Demonstrates a passion for customer service with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and goal oriented, capable of working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills 
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Willing to cross-train on auto and property line of business
  • Work on a national team in a hybrid home/office model

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:

$51,600.00 - $77,400.00
