Presentation of the entity

The position of Commercial Excellence officer covers the commercial activity of ALBI IM. The candidate will be based in Brussels, Evere.
Air Liquide Benelux is one of the top largest entities of Air Liquide around the world. It is contributing to the revenue of the Group by more than billion and a half euros (as of results of the year 2021) and has a considerable share in the Net Profit of the Group. Activity of Air Liquide crosses several business segments - Large Industries, Industrial Merchant, Electronics and Hydrogen to Energy - around 3 countries - Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Presentation of the team and business activities

As a Commercial Excellence officer, you will report to the Commercial Excellence Manager (also based in Brussels) and work within a team of more or less 10 people of different profiles and scopes (Commercial Excellence, Customer Experience, Pricing, Continuous Improvement, Competitive Intelligence…)
Your daily work will support decision making of the Commercial Director and the Commercial Direction Committee of ALBI IM on all topics related to the Commercial Excellence scope.
Moreover, you will be part of a key process, interacting closely with various teams: Business and sales, Product Management, Engineering, Data and Digital…

Mission Summary:

 Your daily work will support the decision making process of the Commercial Director and the Commercial Direction Committee on all topics related to the Commercial Excellence scope.  

Supporting specific projects included in the Commercial Excellence Roadmap and: 

  • working on quantitative and qualitative analysis to support Commercial Direction

  • putting in place digital tools to deploy new offers

  • supporting contract review projects and process improvement initiatives

  • organizing training sessions for sales teams

  • extracting and presenting relevant data and information

  • deploying communication to internal and external stakeholders

Soft and Hard Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills using spreadsheets (google sheets pivot tables, graphs, etc)

  • Team player who can communicate complex processes and tools in easy to understand presentations (google slides)

  • Structured way of working, able to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • Continuous improvement mindset

  • Fluency in English is a must

Languages:

  • English fluency is Must have
