Life Takes You Places!  Are you ready to join us?

We are currently seeking a long term intern to support our sales team in team in Florida 20 hours a week.  This is a remote position. Applicants must be based in Florida.  The ideal candidate will be based in the Jacksonville area  and have the ability to visit our office occasionally.  We will provide a flexible schedule, as needed, to work 20 hours a week.  Compensation is $16 to $18 an hour depending on experience.

An Intern-Sales & Business Support will:

  • Work closely with the Sales team while being exposed to a wide variety of our corporate business areas, gaining invaluable industry and organizational knowledge through daily assignments, strategic projects, interactions with department leaders, and networking with employees across the US
  • Support Sales initiatives including research, competitive analysis, proposal reviews, creating communications, reports, and presentations.
  • Perform administrative duties including scheduling
  • This candidate must be able to multi-task, handle multiple interruptions, and adjust priorities throughout the day.

Essential Duties:

  • Assist with compiling and preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets. Assist with ad hoc reports. Conduct research and prepares reports for special projects as assigned.  
  • Perform administrative duties including, but not limited to, answering and directing incoming calls and questions, scheduling internal meetings, and assisting with making travel arrangements. 
  • Assist with the planning and execution of the annual Sales Incentive Trip and Partner Conference. 
  • Help prepare for the Governance and Ancillary meetings by making copies of meeting materials, tracking meeting attendees and coordinating meeting space. 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess excellent communication and customer service skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to craft professional presentations and communication pieces.
  • Ability to accept assignments and work independently to bring projects to completion
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to effectively interact with senior level management and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Organizational, detail orientation, critical thinking, written/verbal communication skills and time management skills

Required Education and Experience:

  • No degree is required but must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited university.
  • Experience creating documents, spreadsheets and presentations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • A sophomore or junior working towards a business administration, finance or health informatics degree
