About the Role
As part of the Global Squad, the Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role as the trusted advisor and the link between external stakeholders (clients and prospects) and internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product, and services), providing best-in-class advice on mapping requirements to existing solutions and configuring those solutions.
Solutions Consultants engage daily in discussing a wide variety of high-stakes problems with our customers and prospects, making a direct impact by solving challenges that affect their operations, revenues, and bottom lines. The role is not limited to selling a solution but also involves helping to shape some of the core processes of our customers and prospects through demonstrations and highly detailed, high-impact proof of concepts. Additionally, the role requires to leverage the knowledge gained from client and prospect engagements to replicate successful use-case matches with existing configurations and contribute to the creation of a solution repository tailored to the regional market across India.
Responsibilities
Sales Support & Collaboration
- Work with Account Executives, Regional Directors and Sales Managers to identify customer needs and configure tailored solutions.
- Participate in sales meetings, client calls, and presentations.
- Act as the main knowledge resource during the entire client lifecycle.
Solution Demonstration & Presentation
- Deliver product demonstrations both online and in person.
- Develop proof of concepts (PoC) to showcase the product's potential impact.
- Create customized presentations and proposals to match customer needs.
Requirement Gathering & Solution Design
- Collaborate with clients to gather business and technical requirements.
- Configure and tailor solutions to meet customer-specific requirements.
- Lead in preparing Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Information (RFI) responses.
- Building Solution Design Documents (SDD) for capturing the requirements and proposed solution
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships during the client’s lifecycle.
- Address customers' questions and concerns.
Product Knowledge & Market Awareness
- Stay updated on the company’s products, solutions, and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to product teams to influence product development based on market needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree of Engineering, Finance, Accounting or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Financial Products offered by Financial Institutions and Payment Companies is mandatory.
- Ability to deep dive into tabular based structured data (such as excels and csv, among others) by inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting
decision-making.
- Ability to derive insights and discover trends across various sources of structured data.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
- Knowledge of tools for creation of DATA mockups and generation of sample data using excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in large transactional volume organisations operating within the Finance Operations Teams.
- Understanding of Integration concepts and methods of transferring data between cloud deployed system
- Background and experience in accounting and financial reconciliation.
- Background and experience in creation of regular expressions.
- Detailed understanding of Payment Flows and Financial Settlement.
