Summary
This is a remote work at home opportunity in the US.
We cannot sponsor H1B candidates and won’t be able to consider C2C resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on SQL skills for over 8 years to manage and optimize databases effectively.
- Implement and maintain stored procedures to support application performance and integrity.
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines ensuring efficient data flow and integrity.
- Proficient in troubleshooting data and performance issues.
- Develop data pipelines including load patterns to/from different storage systems.
- Use Python libraries and tools such as SQL Alchemy to streamline data processing.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data modeling, performance optimization, and quality.
- Familiarity with Airflow (DAG) for orchestration of complex workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- SQL skills with experience working with complex queries and database systems.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline optimization.
- Understanding of dimensional modeling.
- Proficient in Python programming and using Python libraries for data manipulation.
- Knowledge of Airflow for task scheduling and DAG creation is beneficial.
