Main Responsibilities:
- Develop data pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration and orchestration using Airflow or similar tools.
- Expertise in Python programming for data handling and manipulation.
- Administer and maintain several on-premise applications.
- Employ SQL proficiency to design, query, and optimize databases.
- Use AWS cloud platform to build scalable data infrastructure.
- Apply DevOps principles using Bitbucket, TFS, Jenkins, CloudBees, or other similar environments to improve development workflows.
- Collaborate in software development life cycle (SDLC) processes to enhance engineering practices.
- Ensure data quality and implement data observability measures to maintain data systems.
- Communicate proficiently within the team and occasionally collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 8+ years of proven experience in data engineering.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services for at least 3 years.
- Experience with SDLC and deployment processes.
- Demonstrated experience with DevOps tools and practices.
