Summary
Responsible for acting as a liaison between the national employee benefits team and regional analytics teams to ensure accurate client implementation into the data warehouse and the ongoing maintenance of this data. Responsible for managing client onboarding, vendor change requests, and issue resolutions for a diverse portfolio of clients while providing support to other analysts.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Manages client onboarding, vendor change requests and issues resolutions for a book of clients while supporting other analysts.
- Leads efforts in managing partnerships with data vendors (i.e., develop agendas, manage issue log, prioritize escalations, etc.).
- Develops and maintains consistent processes for overall client analytics implementation and data integration.
- Trains and educates implementation specialists on best practices working with data partners.
- Develops and maintains procedures to prioritize support tickets and maximize efficiency with data partners.
- Documents best practices, set clear expectations for issue resolution and completion, both internally and externally.
- Establishes QA and IQR processes to identify data gaps and inconsistencies.
- Supports national protocols to prioritize group implementation, including both Vendor Change Request (VCR’s) and New Groups Onboarding (NGO’s).
- Creates informative resources for Client teams in local offices on on best practices of data integration and report design.
- Subject Matter Expert for and helps prioritize group implementation.
- Assists Implementation Specialists ("RC’s") and Alliant Analytics super users with accessing support from data vendors.
- Communicates with Contracts/Compliance, Regional Leads, Ops, and other National teams to streamline the implementation process and other AA processes.
- Assists in negotiating enterprise wide contracts includes including data sharing agreements, data file layouts, etc.
- Helps evaluate product recommendations for feasibility and priority (i.e. new data tables).
- Creates consistent methodology for user defined fields (UDF’s) data fields, evaluating carrier layouts, account structures, establishing reporting logic and managing levels of aggregation (LOA’s).
- Partners with other implementation specialists and data analysts to develop client team training materials.
- Maintains/oversees template manager and AA for outdated reports, cohorts, etc.
- Supports Practice Leader in maintaining training and resources on AlliantNet.
- Maintains formal documentation of steps necessary to onboard new clients, this includes communicating and training this information to local teams.
- Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in technical/science field of study/healthcare data
Six (6) or more years in data analysis, business systems analysis, or related work experience
Insurance Industry experience
Experience with healthcare data analysis and reporting
Medical terminology/medical coding experience
Some understanding of carrier file layouts
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Knowledge of basic statistics
Knowledge of business system requirement gathering, analysis, scoping, and documentation
Advanced planning, organizational and prioritization skills

Good leadership, problem solving and time management skills
Proficient in file layouts and healthcare /pharmacy claims data
Proficient with compliance and legal guidelines related to data analytics, data sharing, PHI, etc.
Knowledge of end-user data analytics software systems such as Power Bi, Tableau or similar
