Job Description
At STX Next, we are continuously expanding our Quality Assurance capabilities within a vibrant and innovative environment. Our QA Engineers play a vital role in ensuring the excellence of our software products, collaborating closely with our development teams. While our team often works remotely, we actively participate in various initiatives and industry events related to QA, software testing, and emerging technologies. We approach quality assurance holistically, developing expertise across various testing methodologies and tools, including automated, performance, and API testing. Our team stays ahead of industry trends, continuously refining our processes and adopting new technologies to enhance our efficiency and the quality of our work. By leveraging AI and other innovative solutions, we strive to optimize our testing efforts and deliver superior results in all our projects.
Responsibilities
- Verifying the correct operation of software by conducting functionality tests
- Designing new test scenarios in line with expected system functionalities and business needs
- Executing test scenarios according to the established test schedule
- Analyzing the results and metrics of conducted tests
- Reporting new bugs (in accordance with the project procesS), tracking their processing, retesting functionalities after the corrected source code is delivered, and closing the bug after the process is completed
- Actively participating in scheduled meetings, particularly team meetings within the project
- Active communication with all stakeholders during the process of preparing and executing test scenarios to efficiently deliver a high-quality product
Requirements
Must have:
- Deep knowledge of the topics like: software quality, testing process, type of tests, product lifecycle and bugs reporting.
- Commercial experience in Cypress or Playwright.
- Experience in Agile methodology,
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python or JavaScript).
- Knowledge of GIT version control system allowing to use it freely.
- Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, Xray, or similar).
- Practical knowledge of technologies used in web applications i.e. (HTML, HTTP, REST API).
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Analytical thinking.
- Good knowledge of English (min. B2).
- Great communication skills
Nice to have:
- Commercial experience in performance tests (JMeter, Locust).
- Commercial experience in API tests (Postman, Tavern, or similar).
- Familiarity with docker.
- Own github repository with some code to share..
- Knowledge of Page Object Pattern
