Job description

The Recruiting Specialist sources quality candidates, confirming their qualifications and placing them for consideration in open positions through NEXT RC, Inc. (NEXT). Duties include researching and screening candidates, documenting, and database capture. This position is offered on a part- time, project-based basis, and is fully remote. Compensation for the position is paid on an hourly basis at $18 to $25 per hour, commensurate with experience.  

Objectives for the Role:

Recruiting Specialist (RS) will work with the Managing Recruiter to identify, contact, qualify, and engage with candidates.

RS will use NEXTs online database to collect and organize candidate information including resumes, cover letters, references, discussion notes, or any other information related to the search.

RS will partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruitment strategies.

RS will remain active with job boards, social networks, and platforms for discovering quality candidates, and create and post job descriptions and announcements as needed.

RS will demonstrate the flexibility to dive into assignments and expeditiously queue candidates for review.

Responsibilities:

RS will gain a clear understanding of the hiring managers needs and expectations for candidates. This will require meetings (in-person, zoom, phone).

RS will write and update postings on social media platforms and on job boards to attract candidates.

RS will utilize their personal and professional network to source candidates.

RS will collaborate with the NEXT team to research and develop candidates that they source and bring to the RS.

Skills and Qualifications:

RS will have direct experience with recruiting; staffing firm experience desired.

RS demonstrates exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. RS demonstrates proven success in conducting candidate searches and using various communication methods (phone, video, email, in-person).

RS is able to work independently and with minimal day to day oversight.

RS possesses advanced knowledge of internet search methods.

RS has familiarity with job boards and computer systems designed specifically for CRM

Desired candidate will possess a high degree of customer service and a personal interest in the success and development of others

Applies a curious, anthropological approach to learning about people, organizations, and their goals

Requirements:

RS will provide own personal computer and other devices to achieve objectives for the role
