Job Overview

We are on the lookout for an accomplished Site Reliability Engineer who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our organization’s technology landscape. This position requires a strategic thinker who possesses a robust foundation in software and systems engineering, with a passion for improving observability standards across diverse environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level cloud observability platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure the effective delivery of observability services.
  • Support and troubleshoot both on-premise and cloud systems to ensure seamless performance.
  • Conduct thorough system analysis to identify and address performance issues.
  • Develop and implement innovative technology solutions to overcome complex technical challenges.
  • Drive monitoring and observability standards that enhance customer experiences with mission-critical applications and services.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently while ensuring high-quality execution.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in telemetry and observability frameworks.
  • Proficient in system performance analysis and software debugging techniques.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities, with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
  • Scripting proficiency in languages such as Bash and Python.
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and code optimization practices.
  • Background in Systems and Software Engineering for both On-Premise and Cloud Applications.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with eleven (11) years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with seven (7) years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience administering multiple observability or APM systems.
  • AWS certification is preferred but not mandatory.
