See Yourself as a Pricing Intern

As a Pricing Intern you will work closely with members of the Pricing and Valuation team within the Risk Management Group to perform analysis of Credit/Mortgage Insurance Pricing, Portfolio Risk Attribution, Credit Risk Transfer Securitizations, and ad hoc financial and quantitative analysis. In addition, this role will be responsible for the development of competitive intelligence analysis.

See Your Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Development of reports and analytics to support the surveillance of internal datasets. Leverage Excel, SQL, Python and/or Tableau applications to develop new analytical frameworks and perform trend analysis on incoming data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of analytics on market data to enhance pricing.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and make recommendations for enhancements to current reporting and frameworks.
  • Other duties as assigned

Program Requirements

Interns will be required to participate in specific workshops and events in addition to their intern duties assigned by their people leader. This includes a 2-day in-person event held at the end of July 2025 at our Wayne, PA headquarters.

Job Specifications

Your Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Python, SAS, SQL or a similar programming language
  • Knowledge of BI platforms such as Tableau
  • General understanding of pricing/valuation/ROC concepts and methods

Your Skills And Abilities

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks under deadlines
  • Ability to perform analysis and provide conclusions and recommendations
  • Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Excel/PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy and SciPy preferred
  • High level of interest in learning and utilizing advanced analytical and statistical methods

Your Education and Credentials

  • Required: Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, with a concentration in Risk, Finance, Economics, Computer Science or Mathematics preferred
