Description

As an ASAP Implementation Specialist, the individual will implement and support the Automated System Alarm Protocol (ASAP) interface to Emergency Call Centers. The role will deliver on the validation of GIS information, coordinating with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Partners, Network Consultants, National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (Nlets), and internal Stakeholders to successfully implement and test the ASAP service.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implementation for ASAP service interfacing to Public Safety Customer technology.
  • Collaborate with third-party implementation partners, such as CommSys, Nlets, internal resources, CAD vendors, and Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), to plan and execute the implementation of the ASAP solution.
  • Review GIS data for varying data set comparisons and document inconsistencies.
  • Ensure that all implementations comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices in public safety communications.
  • Assure quality of project deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Promote positive, long-term and meaningful client relations through quality deliverables and customer satisfaction
  • Meet Key Performance goals related to ASAP implementation and expectations as defined by management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred or equivalent
  • Experience implementing complex public safety projects and/or training preferred.
  • Strong understanding of public safety communications, GIS Administration, ASAP service protocol, and/or alarm security solutions.
  • Experience with delivering quality project deliverables, within budget guidelines
  • Ability to pass CJIS and full employment background check
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Willingness to travel (Up to 20% of the time).
