We currently have a career opportunity for an Account Executive to join our Contact Center team. While our headquarters location is St. Louis, MO, this position will cover the eastern or western half of the United States and can be located anywhere in that region.

Job Overview:

The Account Executive is a limited portfolio seller, focused on a specific solution set, and aligned to our omni-channel contact center and customer care solutions including AWS/Amazon Connect, Twilio, Five-9 more. This individual will have assigned territories and will be responsible for solution growth with all clients in their territory. The Account Executives work in an overlay capacity with local Account Managers in existing clients, but also have the responsibility to open new client relationships.

Our Customer Care team is famous for large-scale contact-center migrations, contact center modernization, automation and AI in streamlining contact center operations and self service, and turning customer service from a cost center to a profit center.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the entire end-to-end selling process, working closely with the Perficient delivery team as SME support; inclusive of initial lead generation and inquiry, qualification of opportunities, requirements gathering, project scope definition, effort estimation, proposal development, SOW creation, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Work with manager on partner alignment strategies, sales play strategies and mapping strategies to both target and MSA accounts.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers to assist in growing the business across other areas of the Perficient portfolio.
  • Clearly explain Customer Care/CCaaS service offerings; differences in approaches and partner offerings; and the value proposition of each.
  • Meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quota and bookings goals.
  • Ability to travel to client sites where needed (up to 50% travel).

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of contact center/CCaaS experience.
  • Experience selling Professional Services is preferred.
  • Experience with contact center platforms such as Amazon Connect, Twilio, Avaya, Genesys, etc.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quota and booked revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients.
  • Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling.
  • Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business.
  • Contact Center/CCaaS industry specific experience in FinServ, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Manufacturing or Automotive
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
