We currently have a career opportunity for a Senior Full Stack (React + Python) Developer/Consultant to join our remote team. This is a remote position, must be located within North America.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer/Consultant you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment and support of application developed for our clients. As a member working in a team environment you will take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
  • Contribute to the resolution of all requirements/feedback/scoping/design issues or questions directly with the client
  • Understand the unique business and technical requirements of the engagement and facilitate communications on the most appropriate solution design
  • Ensure that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
  • Engage in the process of developing technical documentation efforts and creation of user stories
  • Estimating project development efforts and unit testing efforts
  • Developing and unit testing of code components per the user story
  • Conduct code audits and reviews as required
  • Ensure implementation, deployment, and backup is done following best practices and client standards
  • Provide technical support or leadership in the development and continual improvement of service.
  • Participate in the creation of the WBS and backlog per sprint and assist PM in project planning
  • Independently manage assigned tasks
  • Attend sprint planning, retrospective meetings, daily stand-ups and report technical blockers to the team

Qualifications

  • Passionate coder with 6-8 years of application development experience
  • Proficiency in JavaScript front end frameworks (e.g. React, AngularJS, Typescript, Backbone), Node.js and Redux
  • Proficient in React (minimum 5-year experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of programming experience with Python
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working AWS serverless concepts and services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.
  • Familiarity of Visual Studio and working with the Visual Studio toolset including builds, local deployments, and the IIS web stack
  • Full life-cycle development experience – with Agile/Scrum project approach
  • Client facing and/or consulting experience is a must
  • Phenomenal communicators who can explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high level decision makers.
  • Solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design.
  • A quick and self-directed learner, excited about learning new things and technology
  • Team oriented, interpersonal, highly motivated, passionate and creative team-player with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the organization.
  • Strong sense of urgency, detail oriented with the ability to manage and prioritize work flow

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $64,974.00 to $149,880.00. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
