Job description

Your responsibilities

Operational Excellence Initiatives:

  • Lead and drive continuous improvement projects across departments, focusing on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyze, and improve key processes within the organization.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Use Power BI to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights into operational performance.
  • Analyze operational data, generate KPIs, and present findings to senior management for data-driven decision-making.


Automation and Process Improvement:

  • Leverage VBA and UiPath to automate repetitive tasks and optimize business processes, improving overall productivity.
  • Collaborate with process owners to identify automation opportunities and design RPA solutions.


Process Mapping and Documentation:

  • Map out existing processes using process mapping tools and methodologies to provide clear visibility into workflows.
  • Document process flows, SOPs, and improvement plans for ongoing process optimization.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, including IT, Operations, and Finance teams, to ensure seamless integration of operational excellence practices.
  • Support the team in process standardization and adoption of best practices across departments.


Training and Mentorship:

  • Provide Lean Six Sigma training to teams, coaching them on continuous improvement practices.
  • Mentor junior team members in process improvement techniques and tools.


Your profile

  • Operational Excellence Expertise: Proven track record in implementing and leading operational excellence initiatives, with strong knowledge in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
  • Power BI: Advanced skills in using Power BI for data visualization and dashboard creation, transforming business data into actionable insights.
  • VBA (Visual Basic for Applications): Proficient in VBA for automating processes and creating custom Excel solutions to streamline workflows and data analysis.
  • UiPath: Hands-on experience with UiPath, creating and managing automation workflows using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to improve operational efficiency.
  • Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written) and Intermediate German (B1/B2 level) to communicate effectively with German-speaking stakeholders.
  • Process Mapping: Expertise in process mapping, documentation, and analysis, identifying inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify problems and develop practical solutions using continuous improvement tools.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with process management software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Project management certification (PMP or Prince2) is a plus.
