We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a critical migration project, transitioning a MLM compensation engine to a new cloud-based platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, experience with compensation systems, and a proven track record in successful software migrations. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring team accountability.

Key responsabilities:
  • Develop and refine a comprehensive project plan with timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Conduct project kickoff meetings to align stakeholders on goals and expectations.
  • Implement and maintain a risk identification and management system.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and managing expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather requirements and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with the business analyst to document all business and technical requirements.
  • Partner with the vendor to ensure successful implementation and integration of the new system.
  • Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as needed.
  • Work with development and IT teams to review and recommend architecture and integration tasks between the new system and existing systems.
  • Oversee data migration planning, ensuring data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading are executed correctly.
  • Assist with data migration activities and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security.
  • Lead the testing phase, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring the new system meets all business requirements.
  • Manage and resolve any defects or issues during the testing process.
  • Help develop and implement a comprehensive training plan for staff to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Apply change management strategies to minimize disruption and maximize adoption of the new system.
  • Oversee the go-live phase, ensuring the system is fully operational.
  • Provide post-implementation support to resolve any user issues or concerns.
  • Conduct a project review to assess outcomes and gather lessons learned.
  • Deliver a final project report, including documentation, performance metrics, and recommendations for future improvements.




  • Requirements
    • Minimum of 7 years of project management experience, with a focus on software migration or implementation.
    • Experience with compensation models and familiarity with commission structures.
    • Proven experience managing end-to-end migration projects for critical business systems.
    • Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies and implementation.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities focused on delivering results.
    • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and SaaS solutions.
    • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence).
    • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
    • Project Management Certification (PMP or PRINCE2) or equivalent experience.
    • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with compensation engines or similar platforms.
    • Experience in managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
