Technical Manager Sweden & Norway

- ideally based in the Gothenburg region or working remote -

The Technical Manager supports the Swedish & Norwegian sales team in all technical matters, provides training to installers and consults customers in the pre-sales and project life-cycle.

Your role:

• Technical follow-up and guidance for customers and colleagues
• Analyse and manage complaints
• Train the colleagues and make sure that technical documents (data sheets, functional description, certificates) are updated and translated into Swedish / Norwegian
• Proactively participate in and network with the relevant flooring associations and standardization committees in Sweden and Norway
• Update and maintain the different databases and organisations focussed ecological / sustainability certification
• Play an active role in the technical meetings within the Gerflor Group
• Partner with the sales team and provide training to customers and installers
• Update CRM data, follow-up on projects and contribute to the Internal Quality Control (IQC)
• Research and prepare market intelligence about competitors, product trends, technical standards and norms, etc.
• Conduct product field tests and trial installations
  
  

Requirements:

• 3+ years working experience in comparable role
• Technical background and/or higher business degree
• Experience in the flooring / adhesives / building chemistry industry
• A proactive self-starter attitude and a strong business mind-set
• The flexibility to quickly adapt to different people and management levels
• Computer literate and user knowledge of CRM Systems
• A very good command of Swedish and Norwegian and fluent English skills
• Willingness to travel frequently in Sweden and Norway, incl. overnight stays
