Position:
Location: Remote - National based learners
Salary: £24,000 - £29,000 with up to £6000 performance based bonus
We are looking for an energised, passionate and experienced functional skills expert to join us as a remote based
Functional Skills Tutor. In this role you will guide and coach a diverse caseload of learners on a predominantly remote basis by encouraging and inspiring them to complete their planned learning and development tasks throughout their learning journey.
Using your unique edge and passion for all things learning support and functional skills you will deliver innovative teaching and learning to our learners to progress them through their qualification and work with the Learning Support Manager to support the national delivery of Functional Skills.
In this role you will...
- Motivate, engage and inspire learners to achieve their functional skills requirements in a timely manner
- Conduct group and 1:1 delivery
- Provide exceptional additional learning support as required
- Collaborate with wider operational teams to ensure completion of initial diagnostic assessment
- Use quality improvement approved resources to deliver impactful functional skills sessions
Requirements:
What We Need From You...
- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in functional skills - English & maths
- Training qualification
- Assessor qualification
- Experience of delivering additional learning support
- Experience of teaching functional skills
- Experience of managing a diverse caseload remotely
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change
