Overview
The Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) department is the vanguard of Deutsche Bank's integrity, proactively identifying and mitigating risks associated with financial crime to safeguard the interests of all stakeholders and uphold the Bank's reputation. Within AFC, the Financial Crime Operations (FCO) unit stands at the forefront of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls, specializing in Transaction Monitoring and Screening. The AML Monitoring &Screening Control Advisor Specialist has a leading role on change initiatives to meet the Bank’s strategy and ensure that business benefits are achieved. They will build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders across the Bank, providing thought leadership and acting as a trusted adviser. In addition to having a broad change skillset, Global FCO Change Execution Manager may also specialize in a core change capability e.g. Business Analysis, Program Management, Process Improvement/Re-engineering, Change Adoption and Test Management.

What You’ll Do
Lead and manage change initiatives that align with the organization's strategic direction and deliver tangible business benefits
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of changes
Utilize expertise in core change capabilities to drive improvements and deliver results.
Oversee the standardization of global processes and the automation of workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of FCO operations
Contribute to the culture of innovation by embracing new technologies and methodologies, You will lead working groups, ensure global consistency aligns with local business needs, track FCO implementation progress, and develop and maintain audit-compliant documentation
You will prepare comprehensive reports and decision papers for senior management on a regular and as-needed basis, ensuring they are informed of key developments and milestones
How You’ll Lead
As a "Change Execution Manager," you will spearhead complex business analyses and process redefinitions, concentrating on Transaction Monitoring (TM) Alert Investigations to bolster our global operations
Your primary role will be to globally analyze and refine processes, facilitate the automation of investigation workflows, and enhance alert quality in close collaboration with dedicated monitoring/modeling teams
You will offer your expertise in change management, business analysis, project management, and process optimization, along with crafting requirements documentation, executing change initiatives, and overseeing test management
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive years of operational management experience in Transaction Monitoring and AML Investigations, ideally with Actimize or equitable experience
You are characterized by a structured and analytical approach, preferably with hands-on experience in leading and implementing change management initiatives to continuously improve the effectiveness of AML investigation processes
You are a proven team player with experience in effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders from different areas and regions
You will have in-depth knowledge of AML regulations, standards, and best practices. AML knowledge across regions and locations will be a plus
You bring a passion for learning and change
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (JD, MBA, LLM) preferred
Working in concert with regional and local FCO functions to elevate the quality of TM investigations
Enhancing process efficiency and effectiveness, notably through increased automation
Ensuring processes are globally uniform, while accommodating justified regional variations
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville and New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
Deutsche Bank provides reasonable accommodations to candidates and employees with a substantiated need based on disability and/or religion.
The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $96,000 to $140,850 and New York City is $125,000 to $183,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
